Fantasy Map Generator prompt ideas
With Fantasy Map Generator tools, execution is easy. You may even find that the hardest part is identifying your vision. These tips and prompt ideas can help get those creative juices flowing.
When brainstorming your fantasy map consider the following questions:
- Are there any key landmarks you want to include in your world?
- What color schemes and visual style do you envision (e.g., photorealistic, illustrated, etc.)?
- What is the terrain like (e.g., Mountainous, desert, forest)?
- In which era does your story take place (e.g., future, ancient past, something else)?
- Are there political divisions, conflicts, and borders that shape your story?
Once you have a sense of your answers to these questions, creating your prompts becomes a lot easier. Here are some example prompts you can use as inspiration.
Tabletop players

April 20, 2026 at 10:00 PMHi Lily,
i really like the quillbot on my lap top for correcting spelling, grammer and spacing.
i may purchase a paid version but need to think on what extra i need
i looked at this world map generation
what i need is a way to make bubble charts, where i put the goal on the far right, and work backwardswith steps i'd need to do, they fan out, until i get to a list on the far left of initial first steps i can take direct action on right now.
i first saw this in Barbara Sher's book, Wishcraft, which she has for free download on her webiste, but in plain text. she passed away a few years ago.
i sued this techniq to go from being a wayward art student to getting into veterinary medicine ...
i have other big projects now and desperately want to make bubble charts and hoping there is something on line to use.
does quill bot have a feature where i could do this?
i could start at the top or bottom of a regular page and work my way up or down...
ok will sign off. would really appreciate knowoing if i can do a buble chart , using words not images within each "bubble or box, that go from finished goa, backwards to each step needed , until i get to the doable 'first steps ".. hope that makes sense.
with much appreciation for any reply and suggestions,
sue
